Step 1:

First of all you will need to unplug the machine for your safety, then take the screwdriver and remove all the screws on the needle plate, if any.

Then you should lift the presser foot of the machine and rest it on its back. It is the metal bar which holds the fabric and prevents it from slipping.

Now, you should locate the needle bar thread of your sewing machine, it will be located halfway down your device on the sewing machine and will be wrapped around the bobbin.

The needle bar thread is a thin metal plate which is attached to most of the working parts and runs through the sewing machine.

Step 4: 

After locating the needle bar thread you will need to pull it out from the bobbin case of your sewing machine. When you pull it, the needle will come up and any resistance in your way will be ended.

Now, push the top of the old needle down with the help of small pliers, and then take the needle out from the needle bar thread.

Step 6:

After pulling the old needle out, you will need to match it with the new needle to make sure it matches. If it does not match, then get the right pair of new needles of the size you want. And if the new needle is right then you should screw it at the end of the needle bar thread.

Now, you should push the new needle back down into the bobbin case of the sewing machine, after pushing the needle you can add both of the spools of the thread. 

There should be a notch at the bottom spool, because having a notch helps you to pull the below-the-plate thread easily for changing the top spool when it is necessary.

Once, the new needle has been installed in your sewing machine and both of the spools have been placed correctly in their spindles, now you have to lower the presser foot as it plays a vital role in holding the fabric while sewing.
