Customer Reviews

I have reserved my singer quantum 9960 today, only took 1 week to get here but when we opened it there was a American plug on it and it’s a 110 v, which was not stated in any of the descriptions, if you are selling to the uk I think they should at least put it in there so I’m not happy. i have read other customers who have purchased and plugged it straight into uk mains and it blow all the boards, so be aware before you buy the sewing machine it HAS NOT got a 3 pin uk plug on it and IT IS A 110V.

Our Verdict

You will find this to be a very wise investment if you have the time and patience to READ and test each step individually. Along with many other features, it will thread the machine, cut the thread when you’re done, and display a message on the LED screen when the needle needs to be threaded.

Customer Reviews

This is the 4th Brother machine I have owned. It is also the most expensive one I’ve ever purchased. I am by no means an expert but I have been sewing for 20 years. This is not the easiest machine to learn. The options are not very elaborate for embroidery and as far as in putting your own design that is a challenge to learn all on its own. It’s great for simple stitches and I am sure with time I could learn to love it and I will have to as my return window has closed.

Our Verdict

This machine’s conventional drop feed system enables creative free-motion sewing. This system’s effortless operation makes the sewing system more efficient.

Customer Reviews

Singer Sewing machines have been in my family for over 100 years! My mother and sisters and I have all had a Singer. So when it was time for an update of course i had to get a Singer. Excellent machine. I do find it easier to use the old way of threading the needle and not bothering with the self-threader. I appreciate the ease of backing up to create a stronger stitch. New features make it fun to sew! I like the design very much.

Our Verdict

With a DVD that details every component of the sewing machine and how to set it up, this chic and portable machine is simple to use. This is the only Computerized sewing machine, in my opinion, that is user-friendly for beginners.

Customer Reviews

What a great little machine! I have a heavy duty quilting machine but it only does straight stitching. I needed a machine for all the other stitches. This one does most stitches you could want unless you are actually after an embroidery machine. The letter writing function is so fantastic and I sign my quilts now and even make little tags for clothes. It’s lightweight, and does not feel heavy duty, but just take care of it. For the price point you could not get more bang for your buck. No regrets, I love this machine.

Our Verdict

Yes, according to the Heureux Z8 Computerized Quilting Sewing Machine review. After weighing all of the features, benefits, and drawbacks of the product, we believe that purchasing the unit is a wise decision. It is completely worthwhile and will support you throughout your sewing journey. You can count on the unit to produce lovely results.

Sewing Machine for Wigs
source: cosewing.com

You can choose from a wide variety of Computerised sewing machines, as you can see from our reviews. How do you decide which one is best for you, then? Here are some important areas to pay attention to while shopping!

Budget

Determine your budget for your new Computerised sewing machine before you even begin to think about particular models. In terms of cost, Computerised models aren’t much more expensive than manual models. However, you will need to spend more money than you would for a manual model to get a good one, especially one with a good reliability record.

For instance, you can spend $100–150 on a very good manual sewing machine with the essential features. But for those prices, you won’t be able to purchase a decent Computerised sewing machine. A good Computerised sewing machine should cost 50–100% more than a comparable manual machine.

Features

You should take some time to consider which features are most important to you, as with any manual sewing machine.

The most crucial step is deciding which tasks you want to use your machine for. Do you require space to quilt? specific stitches for a specific sewing project? Outdoor fabrics or leather with a tough build quality? The best way to purchase a sewing machine that you find useful and satisfying is to provide yourself with the answers to all of these questions up front.

Build Quality

It’s not the number of stitches or features that separate the best Computerized sewing machines from the bad ones. It is well constructed. All those flashy features won’t matter if your machine isn’t built well because it will break down quickly.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long should a sewing machine be expected to last?

It depends on how frequently and cautiously you use it. Your machine can last a very, very long time if you take care of it.
